Acropolis and Agora

So it turns out the August 15th (the day I arrived in Greece), is a public holiday (it’s the day the Orthodox church commemorates the Virgin Mary ascending into heaven) and literally the entire city shuts down.  Thankfully all the archeological sites were free, so I guess it balances out.

About mjbutterworth

I love drinking/making coffee, making/listening to music, riding bicycles, and reading about theology. I also like blogs that talk about those things. Most of all, I love Jesus because his gospel has changed my life.
