This Idido Natural Sundried Yirgacheffe that Julie brough me from Counter Culture Coffee (by way of Raleigh 3rd Wave fav Jubala), is, simply put, an incredible coffee. It’s unbelievably sweet, super clean, bursting with berries and minor but clear citrus notes. It’s really hard to believe how smooth, complex, and tasty one coffee can be!
While reading up about it online, I was reminded how it was Toto‘s home roast of Idido Misty Valley several years ago that really showed me the potential of filter coffee to offer a shocking array of culinary experiences. It’s nice to be revisit this area of Ethiopia (even if it’s processed differently) now that my palette has developed a little more.
Seriously the best cup I’ve had in 3 months!
