Processing Coffee in Kenya by TW

Processing coffee in Kenya from Tim Wendelboe on Vimeo.

Tim Wendelboe just put out this great little video about coffee harvesting in Kenya. As an avid coffee consumer, I find it odd that the overwhelming majority of online discussion and media is about the last stage of coffee production: brewing. But leading coffee roasters and baristas all agree that they can not add to the inherent qualities of the coffee, they can only diminish it.  It seems we should be focusing more on good farming and processing practices, as well as talking about ways to send the profits back to the producers.

About mjbutterworth

I love drinking/making coffee, making/listening to music, riding bicycles, and reading about theology. I also like blogs that talk about those things. Most of all, I love Jesus because his gospel has changed my life.
